Red Ribbon Games started on a dare from a friend. That turned into a handful of the classics — a Pong clone, then a few more — and eventually into Upvote Downvote, the first game worth putting a name on.

Two years after that came a computer science degree, and the games got more ambitious with it.

Today the studio's focus is HEXA COMPLEX, a hex-grid puzzler with a full level editor, a community level browser, and leaderboards.
